Clinical Director St. Petersburg

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director ensures that clinical services statewide surpass industry standards. Leads improvement and grows opportunitites in service delivery.

Credentials, Abilities, and Experience

  • Bachelors plus four year exerience OR Masters plus two years experience.
  • Experience with special needs population.
  • Working knowledge of health care management practices and operations.
  • Medicare/ Medicaid and third party insurance expertise.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to health management.
  • Administrative self- sufficiency required including computer proficiency.

Essential Functions

  • Build and mentor a clinical team that provides evidence based treatment and indisputable results. Provide consultation and clinical supervision.
  • Facilitate and promote continuous quality improvement and risk management with the clinical team to ensure that established organizational outcomes are met, corrective action is implemented and excellent performance is sustained.
  • Oversee credentialing and privileging of staff to meet funder, insurer and Joint Commission requirements and standards.
  • Identify growth opportunities and coordinate program implmentation to ensure clinical excellence and funder compliance for new behavioral and medical services.

Normal Working Hours and Conditions:

  • A forty hour or more workweek as required to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Weekends and evenings as required.
  • Travel is required.
